Over the past 20 years, Niseko has grown into a mecca for winter sports enthusiasts in search of one of the best ski holiday destinations, anywhere in the world. The Niseko United ski resorts (comprising Grand Hirafu, Niseko Village, Hanazono, and Annupuri) are widely recognised as offering some of the most consistent, light, dry powder snow conditions in the world, and offers some of the best skiing in Japan. And it is not just the quality of snow that Niseko is famous for, but quantity too. Visitors to Niseko share in the excitement of what can feel like an endless supply of beautifully light, fluffy snow. Relaxing in an onsen or with a glass of wine during dinner and watching the snowfall outside the window, following the Niseko snow reports, and anticipating even more waist-deep, untracked powder, are just some of many reasons people return every year.

Niseko has many other attractions too; access off-piste terrain suitable for lower-intermediate to expert skiers and snowboarders; experience the exhilarating wonder of fresh powder snow under lights with the world's most extensive night skiing; try your hand at snowshoeing, tubing, catskiing, dog sledding, or snowmobiling; discover the wonderful retail and gift shops of Niseko Village; and enjoy your nights out as much as your days on the mountain with incredible restaurants and countless cafes and bars to suit all tastes, from cosy izakaya to Michelin star fine dining.

Niseko also has some of the best ski accommodation in Japan. The majority of accommodations are located in Hirafu Village, a cozy, walkable, and buzzing ski resort town nestled at the bottom of Grand Hirafu Resort.  Japan Ski Experience offers the largest selection of Niseko accommodations with over 150 conveniently located properties - most of which offer easy lift access - either on foot or via the free shuttle busses which connect the town and the other resorts. Choose from our wide range of accommodation types: from luxury Niseko chalets to boutique hotels and modern Niseko ski in ski out apartments. Spanning from Niseko Village to Hanazono and everything in between, we have something suitable for every group and budget. If you're wondering where to stay, our Niseko-based team is standing by to help you select the perfect place.
