Tokyo to Hakuba by Public Transport
The quickest route between Tokyo and Hakuba is by bullet train (shinkansen) to Nagano followed by direct coach to Hakuba. Travel time from Tokyo is approximately 3 hours.
1. Tokyo Airport to Tokyo Station
Narita Airport to Tokyo: take LTD. EXP NARITA EXPRESS (approx 1 hr)
Haneda Airport to Tokyo: TOKYO MONORAIL to Hamamatsucho, then transfer to JR YAMANOTE LINE (Inner loop) for Osaki to Tokyo Station (approx 20 min)
Train: JR Hokuriku Shinkansen bound for Nagano
Departs from: Tokyo Station
Disembark at: Nagano Station
3. Nagano Station to Hakuba Happo Bus Terminal (Click here for schedule)
Coach: Alpico Highland Express Coach
Departs from: Nagano Station, East Exit (follow signs in English). Cost is JPY 2,000 per person one way. This can be paid to the driver as you board the bus, or a ticket can be purchased from the Souvenir shop at the bus stop area. The bus departs from bus stop number 26.
Disembark at: Hakuba Happo Bus Terminal
4. Hakuba Happo Bus Terminal to your Accommodation

Standard check in time is 15:00 and check out time is 10:00. We recommend aiming to arrive and depart as close to these times as possible
