Hiyoku translates to “flying wing”, because the architectural design of this amazing house and floating style roof looks as though it is about to take off. Hiyoku offers an expansive living, dining and kitchen area for the whole family or group to comfortably spend time together in the evenings, gazing at the stone-encased wood-burning fireplace.

Hiyoku guests can enjoy a designer kitchen, spilling with natural light from the floor to ceiling windows. There are 2 spacious bedrooms including a bunk room with luxury bunks offering each guest their own private “pod”. There is also an additional tatami room which can accommodate an additional 1-2 people on Japanese futons. Additionally, the large media room with sliding doors can be closed off to become a fourth bedroom.

Guests can also soak in the wonderful Japanese style spa bath, gazing out onto the beauty of Mt. Yotei and beyond.
